What is a DUSTDOOR made of?

Constructed of Multi-layered, fire-retardant vinyl (nylon reinforced), the zippered door integrates the finest YKK zipper available. Double reinforced Nylon stitching and an Industrial Grade clear vinyl window make our DUSTDOORS rugged, reusable and effective.

Can a DUSTDOOR be repaired?

Yes. We can install a new zipper at our Sewing room for $49.95. If cut or torn, we sell repair kits similar to a Swimming Pool Repair Kit for vinyl.

Is there maintenance to a DUSTDOOR?

Yes. The DUSTDOOR needs to be sprayed with the lubricant we sell or one you provide. WD-40 is a good choice for ease of operation and preventing the zipper from becoming “de-railed” from the chain. NEVER< NEVER FOLD a DUSTDOOR. Roll Up and store after every use.

Are the DUSTDOORS fire proof?

All DUSTDOORS are Fire Resistant as been tested by the California State Fire Marshall’s Office. SIDS is available upon request.

Can the adhesive come off of the carpet protection when removed?

Only under these conditions:

When left down for more than 45 days and or the traffic exceeds the recommendation on the box.

When used on concrete sub-strate, a process called: Green-Housing” can occur. Condensation occurs on the down side, the (water based) adhesive will “melt”. However, if this occurs, because our adhesive (unlike many manufacturers having a multi-formula) is water based, a Rug Shampoo Machine will remove it.

How long is the warranty on a DUSTDOOR?

90 days from time of purchase.
